Scalp Rejuvenation Technologies

A healthy scalp is the foundation for strong, resilient hair!

At Eagle Aesthetics and Surgery, our scalp rejuvenation technologies target circulation, inflammation, and follicular function to create an environment where hair can thrive.

What Are Scalp Rejuvenation Technologies?

Scalp Rejuvenation treatments use various physical and bioelectrical methods to stimulate the scalp, boost blood flow, and activate cellular repair processes. They are gentle, customisable, and require no downtime.

These non-invasive treatments are often used in conjunction with medical therapies or injectables for enhanced results, or as standalone options for those looking to maintain scalp health and prevent further hair loss.

At our clinic, we offer the following evidence-based technologies:

Microneedling for Scalp Health

Microneedling uses tiny, controlled punctures to trigger the scalp’s natural healing response. This process enhances blood circulation, encourages collagen production, and improves the absorption of topical growth factors or serums.

Low-Level LED Light Therapy

LED light therapy delivers specific wavelengths of red or near-infrared light to energise scalp cells and reduce inflammation. This treatment improves follicle vitality and has been shown to extend the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle.

Sessions are comfortable and relaxing, with no pain or downtime.

Tricopat Hair Loss System

Tricopat is a non-invasive scalp therapy that uses a patented TRICHOGENESI® protocol combining micro-incisions, shockwave pulses, iontophoresis, electrostimulation, and LED light to stimulate hair follicles and improve scalp health.

About the Tricopat Hair Loss System

Tricopat is a non-invasive scalp treatment that combines multiple technologies to stimulate the scalp. It uses a patented protocol called TRICHOGENESI(R) involving “patting” technique developed by Italian dermatologists and Trichological Cupping, delivering growth factors to the scalp.

By improving scalp circulation, enhancing the absorption of active ingredients, and stimulating hair follicles, Tricopat helps create an optimal environment for hair regrowth and can slow down thinning in its early stages.

Tricopat is a well-rounded, holistic approach to hair loss that combines various technologies. At Eagle Aesthetics & Surgery, we recommend it for all types of hair loss except scarring forms.

FAQ for Tricopat System

o. Tricopat is designed to be comfortable and gentle. Most patients describe the sensation as mild and relaxing. There is no need for anaesthesia, and there’s no downtime after the procedure.

At Eagle Aesthetics and Surgery, a course of 3-4 weekly treatments x 4-6 is typically recommended for best results, depending on your condition.

After that, maintenance sessions can be spaced further apart to sustain the benefits.

After cleansing the scalp, serum containing growth factors is applied. First step involves patting where microdermabrasions and sound waves are used to stimulate the hair follicles and create channels for absorption of growth factors respectively.

Serum is reapplied again before proceeding to step 2 involving iontophoresis and low-level laser light. Each step takes 10 minutes and entire treatment is completed in 20 minutes.

We recommend not using hair dyes or other products that might irritate the scalp for few days prior to treatment.

On the day of the procedure, after washing hair, do not apply any products on the scalp. Regular products and medications can be resumed on the same night.

There is little to no downtime for Tricopat treatment.

However, we do recommend not washing the hair for few hours after the procedure to allow for continued absorption of all the remainder serum into the scalp.

Tricopat is a FDA approved device for hair loss that is completely safe for use in all adults (including post-partum women).

For patients who are pregnant/having metal implants/pacemakers/etc, special precautions will be advised.

Yes, Tricopat works well alongside other therapies such as injectables, oral medication, or topical solutions. It enhances treatment outcomes by improving scalp receptivity and overall health.

At Eagle Aesthetics and Surgery, we also provide our very own customised full hair regeneration therapy:

  1. Step 1: Hydrafacial Scalp (deep cleansing and exfoliation)

  2. Step 2: Tricopat treatment

  3. Step 3: Exosome application

Why Consider Scalp Rejuvenation?

Many forms of hair loss begin with subtle scalp dysfunction – like poor circulation, inflammation, or clogged follicles.

By addressing these root causes, scalp rejuvenation therapies can support overall hair health, reduce shedding, and improve treatment response when used with other modalities.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Not at all. These treatments can also benefit individuals with dry scalp, itchiness, buildup, or anyone looking to maintain a healthy scalp environment as part of routine hair care.

You may notice improved scalp comfort, reduced flaking, or a refreshed feeling after just one session. Visible hair improvements (e.g. reduced shedding or thicker strands) usually appear after a few sessions, especially when combined with other treatments.

Most patients find these treatments comfortable. Microneedling may cause slight redness for a day, but other methods like LED or Tricopat are non-invasive and gentle with no downtime.

Yes – in fact, that’s often recommended. Scalp rejuvenation creates a receptive environment that can enhance the effects of injectables or topical medications. We will design a protocol that complements your full hair restoration plan.

This varies depending on your goals and condition.

For optimal results, treatments may be done weekly or biweekly over a few months. Maintenance sessions can be spaced out once improvement is seen.

As hair loss treatment is always a multi-pronged approach, these non-surgical/ minimally-invasive surgical techniques of hair restoration can be combined with hair transplant synergistically to achieve better surgical outcomes with maximal success rates.
