What is the HALO laser?

HALO Laser is the world’s only Hybrid Fractional Laser. It combines two laser wavelengths, 1470nm (non-ablative) and 2940nm (ablative), in a single pulse, combining two different treatments that otherwise would be given separately. These wavelengths are able to target deep pigmentation and stimulate new collagen at the face, neck, decolletage, arms and more.

The ability to customise treatments allows precise targeting of skin damage whilst providing flexibility in downtime.

The HALO Laser Procedure

A typical HALO laser treatment takes 30-60 minutes. Most patients feel little to no pain due to the application of a topical anaesthetic before the procedure. 

During the procedure, a handpiece moves across the skin delivering precise pulses energy. An integrated cooling system keeps you feeling comfortable throughout the process.

With application of a topical anesthetic and cooling technology from the machine, patients typically experience little discomfort.

You can feel a prickling sensation and feeling of heat during the treatment, but it is a generally comfortable procedure.

After the treatment, most patients will continue to feel warm for another 0.5-1h or longer, depending on treatment levels.

For the first 24 hours, keep your skin protected based on aftercare instructions given by the doctor.

After the first 24 hours, the treated skin will begin to shed off and replaced with new, healthy skin. You may experience social downtime for a few days but can normal daily activities are not restricted.

You will start to see results between 2-5 days after your HALO treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time.
